Atheists claim it's anti-atheistic that Christians actually believe their beliefs

A representative of a little-known atheistic group believes it is wrong to have a cross at the 9/11 memorial museum because there is no symbol to represent the 500 atheistic victims as well.

He explained that no atheist symbol was found at the 9/11 terror attack site because atheists don't have one. Therefore, it is suggested that workers should have plunged through the rubble looking for the possibilities that might represent their cause.

For example, if an "A" would have been found, then atheists could claim that atoms formed the "A" as a special symbol of inspiration. It could have been placed at the memorial museum and not been prayed over.

He stated that, "Not only is it wrong that Christians believe their beliefs, but it is unfair that atheistic victims of 9/11 have to endure representation by a religious symbol."

One observer asked if the atheistic victims would appreciate their names being separated from those of the Christian religion to which was the response, "That's not the point. Look, all we want is for Christians to stop flaunting their beliefs as if they're so important to our nation."    ....  "Atheists don't need to cling to any religious belief and Christians do, but we don't think it means they should be allowed to express it by a symbol unless we get one, too. If atheists can't be represented, then Christians shouldn't be either."
