Liberty Counsel Launches Liberty Prayer Network |
Today, on September 11, Liberty Counsel is pleased to announce the launch of the Liberty Prayer Network. The intercessory prayer ministry Resources Unlimited International has officially merged with Liberty Counsel. This merger resulted in bringing to life the Liberty Prayer Network, founded and facilitated by Maureen Bravo, Liberty Prayer Network’s International Director.
The Liberty Prayer Network will serve as the prayer ministry for Liberty Counsel, interceding for the United States and those championing the principles of life, liberty, and the family. It is enlisting “praying patriots” from each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia to take a firm stand in their home states, lifting high the torch of liberty and calling others to worship God and to pray for His blessing over their states and the nation. “While praying for our nation, we remain deeply committed to standing with and interceding for our sister nation, Israel, and partnering with those from other nations who uphold the restoration of their cultures by advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and the family,” said Bravo. Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, said:
“I am pleased to announce on 9/11 the launch of the Liberty Prayer Network. Our nation was founded on a belief that God gave us unalienable rights and that America was born to protect these rights. We saw miracles happen in the birth of America, but like Benjamin Franklin once asked, ‘Have we now forgotten that powerful friend? Or do we imagine that we no longer need Him?’ Maureen Bravo has been a personal friend and a friend of Liberty Counsel for many years. We are excited to merge her prayer ministry with Liberty Counsel.”
Liberty Counsel is an international nonprofit litigation, education, and policy organization dedicated to advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and the family since 1989, by providing pro bono legal assistance and representation on these and related topics. |
